According to the National Secretariat for Public Security, robbery and theft of vehicles represent approximately 70% of crimes in Brazil. In January 2020 alone, vehicle thefts and robberies totaled more than 97 thousand, and between 2015 and 2019 the annual average theft was more than 523 thousand.
This is a profound problem in Brazil and a large part of these thefts are destined to “dismanches”, illegal and clandestine scrap metal workshops. The parts are destined for the entire national territory, but are mainly sent to Paraguay, where the resale cycle begins.
Faced with this problem, many services and security systems are developed: mileage control, mapping of risk areas or telemetry systems can be implemented to significantly contribute to the solution of this problem. This was the case recently with a T-CROSS vehicle owned by one of S4F's customers.
Solution4Fleet acts as a manager and facilitator of car rental companies across the country. Based on its Ecosystem of services and products, it ensures that all stages of managing a vehicle in the fleet are carried out in a transparent and simplified manner, always achieving better financial results for lessors and greater satisfaction for the end customer. The S4F Ecosystem ranges from the creation of the project to open a rental company, through vehicle purchase, maintenance, telemetry, management system and, in the end, fleet demobilization.
In order to guarantee the best service in each service and product, S4F works with the most renowned partners and with the best products on the market.
In the case of the recovered T-CROSS, we had the active and essential participation of two major partners: GOLSAT, specialist in vehicle control and tracking technology, and SEGSING, specialist in monitoring.
The customer contacted S4F, which managed and monitored the entire process with GOLSAT and SEGSING. Our partners were active, using state-of-the-art monitoring systems, high-precision equipment and well-established security processes. They carried out the search and location process, then called and guided the police to recovery. In less than 3 hours from the moment the S4F was triggered, the vehicle was found and recovered without loss of parts such as the spare wheel and other equipment.
The speed of service is reflected not only in customer satisfaction – who now intends to hire more security devices from our partners, GOLSAT and SEGSING – but also in the success of this recovery, since the faster the vehicle is found, the smaller the costs. the chances of total loss or scrapping of parts
