We started to collect this volume of speeding data and alert drivers and managers about the behavior on a daily basis. We start with speeds above 130 [km/h], then we go to 120, then 110, then we go down to 100.

The work of Belagrícola's fleet management team changed radically with the adoption of some technologies. The cost reduction scenario appeared, speeding was suppressed and a vehicle sharing operation was implemented – actions that led to a fuel savings of around 500 thousand reais per year. For Invepar, the change occurred across the board. The company studied market players, implemented telemetry, developed fleet policy and started attending events and courses in the area. The movement gained strength and the results appeared very quickly. Today, Invepar maintains in its organizational structure a team of 23 employees dedicated to regulating, monitoring and constantly improving the use and performance of all its vehicles, machines, equipment and drivers, in a 24/7 operation. . In 2017, the first measurements of speeding indicated around 213 speeding speeds for every 100 kilometers driven. After implementing the Fleet Policy in all companies and applying training to drivers, they reached the 1,6 excesses for every 100 thousand km driven.

When we also compare our safety pyramid, we observe that in our own fleet operation the number of near incidents is reduced, which reduces the statistical probability of a more serious event.

For Ypê, the fleet policy goes hand in hand with telemetry. The company has a strict fleet policy and terms of responsibility that cover the driver's duties and obligations, as well as disciplinary measures. Telemetry has always been a need for our fleet and when we moved forward with the project it was a success due to the safety and culture change that the equipment soon brought. One of the main roles of Lactalis Fleet Management is to mitigate risks and add value to the fleet with processes that bring quality and reduction.

At Lactalis, telemetry results were already seen in the first few months. With the help of the software, the fleet manager and the team were able to reduce R$340.000 in just six months of telemetry. The biggest focus of the economy was on fuel. Furthermore, it was a real change in the safety culture, as managers and drivers began to adopt the value of safety in all traffic actions.

We are very proud of this project, not because of the value it added to the business, but because of the knowledge that today each of our team returns home much more safely.

For Zoetis, there is fleet management before and after telemetry. The company considers that management was less effective, with less information and details that did not allow the teams to be profiled. With the implementation of telemetry, in addition to the possibility of changing this scenario, the company also had a significant reduction in accidents and also in costs. For Diversey Brasil, telemetry was responsible for providing the tools that managers needed to optimize a characteristic they already had: creativity. Diversey started to notify drivers and managers of registered infractions, with this they carried out an awards program for the company's three best drivers and, every three months, they analyze who were the best drivers of the quarter taking into account fines, telemetry infractions and accidents . Thus, in addition to encouraging drivers to drive safer, Diversey achieved a reduction in traffic violations by 29% and a reduction in fuel costs by 8,9%, resulting in savings of US$3.877 per month. The company also calculated a 24% reduction in CO2 emissions and another amount of US$242.000 for the acquisition of vehicles, carrying out a careful model definition process following the recommendations of LATIN NCAP.

We provide personalized training in our corporate university with 14 videos lasting an average of 10 minutes with the rules and regulations of the Fleet Policy and practical driving tips. The Golfleet platform allows us to quickly export data relating to each driver's driving.

With the aim of making security a value and establishing a safe culture, capable of protecting the lives of all employees and achieving a concrete change in behavior, in September 2022, Lavoro officially launched the Lavoro Safe Driving Program.

Thus, Lavoro shares their driving behaviors individually with drivers, providing information so that they can identify areas for improvement and put them into practice in the next period. In the first 6 months of the project, the results already include the following reductions:

Through the Speed ​​per Via (Vvia) module, it was possible to assemble a team and define acceptable parameters to reach the KPIs. An interesting fact is that the Vvia module showed that It wasn't enough to just limit a speed. The module allowed us to see that perhaps that driver would not be the biggest offender of the 120km/h maximum limit, but could be a possible offender on a road with a 30km limit where he was passing at 80km. It was a warning sign. We always tell our drivers that our goal is not to track you. We seek to make him aware that he needs to return home alive, as that is where his greatest treasures are. Returning safely is paramount.
