Traffic safety was, is and always will be an essential issue for Golfleet. Therefore, we are always looking for solutions, and the Conecta no Trânsito Movement – Connect to preserve lives is another initiative in this direction.
Our mission is to promote a culture of safety throughout the year, going beyond the Yellow May campaign , through awareness campaigns across all levels of society and specific actions during this period.
We seek to involve not only fleet managers and company drivers, but also pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists and other key players in the optimal functioning of traffic.

Manifesto of the Conecta no Trásito Movement
Streets and roads connect people to interconnected spaces and destinations. Vehicles, pedestrians, passengers, cyclists, and drivers together create a network of shared responsibilities. Just like cell phones connected to the internet, where the signal is essential for the flow of information, in traffic, every individual is vital for maintaining a safe and efficient flow.
In connected traffic, the impact of an individual decision, such as checking your cell phone while driving or crossing the street outside the crosswalk, can have consequences for other people. Therefore, to connect to safer traffic it is necessary to be engaged in practices that preserve the lives of everyone who coexists in this space.
The Connect in Traffic Movement was born as a call for reflection and safety on the streets and roads we share every day. This connection goes beyond the physical and encompasses responsibility, education, technology, and empathy, which are the true traffic pathways that connect us to the purpose of preserving lives in traffic.
Connect Responsibly
Driving a vehicle is one of the most complex and dangerous activities we carry out on a daily basis. The first step towards safer traffic begins with the conscious choice to respect the laws, reduce speed, avoid distractions and prioritize collective well-being while driving, being connected only to the moment and not on devices that divert your attention.
Connect with Education
Traffic education should start from an early age and be a constant practice. Anyone connected to safe transit can promote education and awareness conversations about the risks and importance of safe behavior on the streets.
Connect with Technology
From applications that monitor risky behavior to advanced driver and vehicle assistance systems, technology, if used well, can significantly contribute to reducing accidents. Try to use it to promote safety actions, but do not use it while driving.
Connect with Empathy
Transit is a shared space. When we put ourselves in the other person's shoes — be it the pedestrian, the cyclist or another driver — we promote a harmonious and safe connection. Empathy must be the engine that guides us, allowing us to recognize the importance of each life.
